About

If you were take the amount of coffee consumed during a project, the square footage of all matte board used to date, and the satisfaction of nailing a concept for a client, you would be able to come up with a number grounded in mathematics to determine what design is, and how it applies to a particular person. If someone were to ask you “what is design,” or how well you design, you could spout off a number as easy as telling them your age. It would be that simple.

M.C. Escher once stated that “we adore chaos because we love to produce order.” This statement could not be any more true for me. I love to take a collection of ideas, however random, and produce something tangible from it.

I am very energetic and work hard to come up with the best solution to a problem that I can. Design isn’t about me or my ideas, it is about communicating a concept or idea to a person or group. It is about awareness. With that comes a great responsibility as well, not just because design can help people come to conclusions, but a responsibility as well to the client and project at hand; to treat them with respect and individuality and to give each a chance to thrive.

From traditional print media, to full blown online web experiences, JHarrison Graphics can design it. I build off of my past graphic design experiences and am continually learning the latest trends and techniques to provide the best possible graphic and web design solutions to meet the needs of a project. Whether it is general graphic design such as logos, ads, business cards, flyers, brochures, vehicle wraps or web development, programming and design, I approach each project individually to help create the best possible experience and solution for any given client, large or small.
